CONTRAHIST - 28 TABLETS

 
 
Contrahist contains levocetirizine which is an antihistaminic used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, and sneezing. It is also used to relieve itching and hives. It works by blocking a natural substance (histamine) that your body produces during an allergic reaction.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment:
  • allergic rhinitis (including chronic allergic rhinitis),
  • chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Instructions for use
Always read the leaflet or consult with your doctor before using.
Adults and children over 6 years of age and above is recommended to take 1 tablet (5 mg) daily.
Oral use.
Warning
DO NOT take Contrahist:
  • If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to levocetirizine dihydrochloride, an antiallergic drug or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
  • If you have severely impaired renal function (severe renal failure with creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min).
  • If you have hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
  • In children under 6 years of age.
  • With alcohol.

Keep out of reach of children.
Contains lactose monohydrate.
Ingredients
The active substance is: Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride.
Excipients: Microcrystalline Cellulose (Type 102), Lactose Monohydrate, Magnesium Stearate, Hypromellose, Titanium Dioxide (E 171), Macrogol 400.
